Joan Roger Beaufort
Founder
Joan Beaufort is the Founder and Chairman of La Royale Investments Group, and is a French entrepreneur born in Alsace in 1988. He is also the founder of JRB Capital Overseas, a holding company based in Singapore. A technology enthusiast, he has founded several companies in the financial IT systems, marketing, connected real estate, payment, and gaming sectors.
The Lancaster Investments holding company, renamed La Royale Investments in 2023, operates in three sectors: gaming with La Royale Gaming Investment and fintech with La Royale Fintech Investments.
Joan Beaufort’s ambition is to share his expertise in digital transformation and innovation, and to develop inventive, disruptive, and secure projects in strategic sectors.
Global Star Finance, a La Royale Fintech Investments company, now has its own EMI, TPF, which is FCA-licensed in the UK, with the ambition of obtaining further licenses, notably in Canada and Australia.
With 15 years’ experience abroad and a keen understanding of international digital issues, Joan Beaufort describes himself as a true “web nomad”. Moreover, he invests in his hometown of Molsheim (Bas-Rhin, France), where he rehabilitates buildings and creates local businesses.
Joan Beaufort is a graduate of Oxford University (UK) and holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (Latvia).

George Haralambous
Director
An experienced CFO with extensive expertise, George possesses strong management acumen, spanning from close collaboration with fellow C-level executives to mentoring trainees. His professional journey has taken him through a wide range of international enterprises across the UK, EU, USA, LATAM, Asia, and the GCC. Throughout, he has held all-encompassing responsibilities across financial, regulatory, taxation, administration, and reporting mandates.
George is a strategic problem-solver who thrives in high-pressure environments. Drawing on a versatile and adaptive skill set, he brings a hands-on approach to everything from day-to-day operations to executive-level decision-making. His experience also spans the full COO function, having led diverse back-office and administrative teams across multiple sectors.
A strong advocate for innovative thinking, George approaches challenges with a holistic mindset that goes beyond numbers. His ability to assess situations from multiple perspectives has consistently delivered actionable insights. Over the years, he has served on various Boards—both executive and non-executive—in trading and fintech companies, contributing to their growth with balanced, forward-thinking leadership.
Mohammad Haque
Director
Mohammad is a seasoned Chartered Certified Accountant with over 14 years of experience across FinTech, accounting, and regulatory advisory. He specialises in supporting Payment Institutions (PIs) and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) with strategic financial planning and navigating complex compliance frameworks.
As Director at Global Star Finance Ltd, Mohammad plays a key role advising on complex regulatory matters and engages directly with supervisory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance and transparency. He has successfully led multiple FCA authorisation processes and continues to provide strategic guidance on financial operations and regulatory reporting.
Mohammad holds a certification in Financial Technology from the University of Oxford, with a focus on blockchain, RegTech, and innovation in digital finance, bringing together deep industry insight and a future-ready mindset.
